Google Pixel 10 Release Date: Expected Launch, Specs, and Price Updates

Google Pixel 10 Release Date: Expected Launch, Specs, and Price Updates

I’ll be honest — every year when Google announces a new Pixel, I end up watching the event even if I’m not buying it. There’s just something about the clean Android feel, the little AI tricks, and of course, the camera magic. And now, people are already talking about the Pixel 10.

So, when is it coming? What’s going to be new? And yeah, how much are we going to have to pay for it? Let’s get into it.

When’s the Release?

Google doesn’t really surprise anyone with dates anymore. Pixel 8? October 2023. Pixel 9? Expected late 2024. So, naturally, Pixel 10 is almost certainly going to show up in October 2025.

They’ll do their usual “Made by Google” event, hype up the features, maybe throw in a new watch or earbuds. Pre-orders probably open the same day. And if they follow their usual pattern, people will start receiving the phone within two weeks.

Design and Screen

Le Google Pixel 10 Pro se dévoile à travers un concept audacieux

From what we’ve seen, Google likes keeping the design familiar — but polishing it up a bit each time. Leaks (if we can trust them) say Pixel 10 might have thinner bezels, maybe a lighter titanium frame, and tougher glass.

The display? Likely a 6.3-inch OLED with a 144Hz refresh rate. That’s smoother than what most people even notice, but gamers and animation lovers will care. Also, brighter outdoors, which matters more than people think.

Cameras (Because That’s Why We’re Here)

Look, the main reason most people even think about Pixels is the camera. And it sounds like Pixel 10 is going to keep that crown. Rumors say:

  • 50MP main camera, better low light

  • 48MP ultra-wide for big shots

  • Periscope zoom up to 10x optical

  • Smarter AI tools (Magic Eraser 2.0?)

And maybe — just maybe — 8K video recording. It’s overkill for most, but nice to brag about.

Power Under the Hood

Pixel 10 will probably run on the Tensor G5 chip. Translation: faster AI stuff, smoother gaming, and hopefully better battery life. It’ll ship with Android 16 and could get seven years of updates. That’s basically a lifetime in phone years.

Battery and Charging

Google seems to have heard the complaints about battery life. Word is, Pixel 10 could pack a 5,000mAh battery. Add to that 45W wired charging and 30W wireless, plus reverse charging for your earbuds.

The cool part? Smarter battery optimization that actually learns your habits. Meaning it might last longer just because it knows when you don’t need all that power.

Other Bits

We’re talking 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and probably UWB for precise tracking. Plus:

  • Face unlock

  • In-display fingerprint sensor

  • Water and dust resistance (IP68)

  • Stronger vibration feedback for typing and gaming

Price Guess

The Pixel 8 Pro launched at $999. With inflation and upgrades, the Pixel 10 might start around $1,099. Higher storage? Expect a few hundred more.

Final Word

If you like clean Android, excellent cameras, and AI features that actually feel useful, the Pixel 10 could be worth the wait. It’s not official yet, but October 2025 is looking like the month to watch.

And yeah  I’ll probably still be watching the launch live, coffee in hand.
